Tara Willitt Is New to McGraw Realtors!
Tara Willitt has joined McGraw REALTORS, Broken Arrow office. Born in Conroe, TX, Tara grew up in Okmulgee. After high school, Tara accepted a full-ride, Division 1 softball scholarship to play in the SEC at Ole Miss, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. After college Tara was recruited by a Netherlands Softball Club, where she played for two seasons, helping promote the team to the top league. While in Europe, Tara obtained her Master's Degree from the University of Phoenix. Tara returned to the US to accept a position in non-profit with Resonance Center for Women, working with criminally involved women struggling with substance abuse. This position led her to transition into a position as Local Administrator for Community Sentencing with the OK State Dept. of Corrections.
A second-generation McGraw REALTORS associate, Tara became interested in real estate watching her mother who obtained her license in 2014. After the birth of her daughter, Tara chose to begin a new career in real estate, which was a better fit with her family goals. She received her OK Real Estate license in 2017. “It was a win-win decision,” Tara says. “I built a career serving others and, in real estate, I still am able to serve. Also, like it was with myself and my mother, my daughter is able to be involved with me while I work.” Tara specializes in residential listings and sales in Tulsa and the surrounding areas. She will be adding new construction in the future.
Tara currently co-owns Marshall Woodworks with David Marshall. The company specializes in residential remodels and frame/trim work on new construction. She and David live in Broken Arrow with their daughter.
“Joining McGraw was like coming home to open arms,” Tara says. “Becky Zarecki and the Broken Arrow team are like family to me.
